St. Joseph and CrMS from the Man’s Perspective

Congrats to our new FCP, Katie
July 28, 2025The 44th Annual Meeting of the AAFCP cannot be “summed up” in one word or even in a few words. It was my profound honor to attend this outstanding meeting. It was held in Charlotte, North Carolina from July 16 – 19, 2025.
Every speaker was superb and every topic more compelling than the last. Here’s a quick summary of the topics:
- The importance of communicating the “why” in challenging situations.
- Medical and surgical treatment of cervical mucus disorders.
- Ethics of in vitro fertilization with patients using the Creighton Model FertiltiyCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY.
- Pelvic floor therapy and when to make that referral; remarkably interesting.
- Advantages of continuing to chart through their entire pregnancy.
- Gen Z, the next generation of clients. They learn differently! Are we ready to teach to their style of learning?
- Ovarian cysts, signs and symptoms and treatment.
- Scientific evidence to support abortion pill reversals
- When and why to address male infertility.
- Walking with couples through the impact of trauma on sexuality and fertility.
- Importance of focusing on the follicle: rationale, support and protocols.
- Preconception health.
The final talk of the meeting was a true inspiration. It was the story of Edith Stein who converted to Catholicism during World War II. Her religious name is Theresa Benedicta of the Cross. She was an extraordinary philosopher and was killed in one of the German gas chambers. She is one of six patron saints of Europe.
This tremendous wisdom was welcomed by all who attended.
Even more special is the time that we had to reunite with friends and other Practitioners/Interns. These meetings are genuinely like an “in utero” experience. We all share the same purpose, and we all realize that we are standing on the shoulders of giants who have paved the way for us to teach this wondrous information about the miracle of procreation along with the benefits of the Creighton Model and NaProTECHNOLOGY in deepening our appreciation for this priceless gift!
If you or someone you know are ready to start your FertilityCare Journey and learn more about NaProTECHNOLOGY and these amazing topics, visit our website or contact us today at 813-421-4625. I meet with clients in person at our Center in Gulfport, FL or via Zoom and am grateful to teach Fertility Appreciation to more women.
