“A Real Song to Life”
April 30, 2026
May 10-16 is National Women’s Health Week, and I’m glad. At St. Gianna Center, that’s what we are all about! The theme this year is “Prevention, Innovation, and Impact: A New Era in Women’s Health.” While many mainstream voices may not recognize all that Creighton and NaPro do for women’s health, I won’t let this week pass without singing praises of Creighton and NaPro.
As a FertilityCare Practitioner, I walk with women and couples on their fertility journey. In the process, we review important preventive measures for women’s health. We review pap smears, breast self-exams, and mammograms with them. Charting itself can give us an indication of potential health issues such as PCOS, cancer, and more.
The Creighton Model System, CrMS, is an innovative method of family planning. Mainstream medicine has been encouraging women for decades to use harmful artificial hormones, devices, or surgery to block the natural and healthy fertility that should be celebrated. CrMS gives women the knowledge to understand their bodies and fertility. They are empowered to make informed decisions about how to proceed with their family.
NaPro Technology is an incredibly innovative medical model. When a woman charts the biological signs of her fertility, she is tracking her cycle in a scientific and precise way. The chart is a medical tool for doctors to treat various female health matters. In addition, we can use this information to help women who are struggling to get pregnant get to the root cause of why she is unable to conceive or carry a full-term pregnancy.
All of this has a profound impact on women’s health. We are not bound by hormones, devices, or surgeries to plan our families. We are empowered by the knowledge of how our bodies work. We are guided through various health issues that impact both our fertility and our well-being.
At St. Gianna Center with Creighton and NaPro as our guides, we are making a difference in women’s health. I hope that you can join us as we walk with women and families. If you want to learn more about Creighton Model Charting, we offer a Free Introductory Session each month. Go to our Events Page to sign up for the next date.
